Sending off license, once convicted

Hi,

I have recently been convicted of drink driving and the courts told me I needed to send off my license.

I am just wondering if anyone could give me some information about this, am I just sending it to the DVLA, are they any forms I need to include?

You can just sent it to DVLA, with a covering letter saying at which court you were disqualified.

Keep it for ID as i could not find mine at the time of ban 7 years ago and turned up a year later in a lost wallet. I have needed it various times to open a bank account as i do not have a passport
