Is a Medical Compulsory?

Convicted Driver Insurance

I was banned in Feb 23 for 12 months. I failed to produce when I was stopped by two aggressive male officers (I suffer with complex PTSD from a lifetime of abuse from men), I asked for a female officer and was refused then badly assaulted.
I wasn't actually under the influence and was banned for failing to produce (DR30 - Driving or attempting to drive then failing to supply a specimen for analysis) I have applied and received my licence back then two weeks later received a letter from DVLA requesting I go for a medical for high risk offender. Due to my mental health I don't go any further than a 5 mile radius and they are expecting me to travel over an hour to go for a blood test. I work with the secondary mental health team who visit my house due to my disability and being unable to travel. I am concerned I will lose my licence if I don't attend but also lose my mind if I attempt to travel that far. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
