hi there my name craig bradley i got banned driving marchlast year drink driving cause my ban just about up my mam recieved the letter at home to say i got to apply again 90 days before ban up it says i need a medical. The only problem is i currently in australia have been since the ban happened wondered if there was any opions for me here in oz for the medical or not

The medical must be carried out by a DVLA approved medical practitioner. I have no idea whether there are any in Australia but I can't see why there would be given that the high risk offender scheme applies only to your UK driving licence. All I can suggest you do is contact the DVLA and ask if it is possible to sit the medical in Australia.

If not, then you will have to arrange the medical to coincide with your next visit to the UK.
