company insurance

I work for a family company and was previously insured to drive through the company insurance.
My question is, once my ban is up can i simply go back to being on the company insurance or not? Is it a case of discretion by the insurers themselves whether I am able to be insured via them again?

That is a matter for the insurers but previous convictions do not usually mean you can no longer be insured but rather that there would be an increased premium. However, some fleet policies may have stricter conditions.
