Waiting for a blood test results approaching 5 months

Hello, I got stopped and blew 41 at the side of the road. I ended up doing a blood test for evidence and I have been waiting nearly 5 months now as this happened at the beginning of December. The axciety this is causing me is getting out of control having this hang over me all this time it’s affecting my health. I have heard absolutely nothing from the police and don’t know what to do? Can anyone shed any light on this?

Blood test results tend to take up to 8 weeks to come back however it can take anything up to 6 months. If you do not hear back after 6 months then you more than likely won’t be charged as the Police have 6 months to lay a charge with the court.
