Any help appreciated.....

Lost licence for failure to provide June 2017
( i did provide roadside and cop shop but refused blood )

Ended up with 15 month ban plus HRO

Eventually applied for licence, sat dvla medical, "failed" with cdt of 3.9%...... (oct 2018)

........late 40's, liked a beer for last 30 years........ can take or leave it.

Unclear on letter if i can re-apply in 6 or 12 months????

ANY HELP appreciated.

I will answer any info required...................

cheers

J.

If the letter doesn't say it will very likely be six months.

The twelve month period is if they think you are dependent on alcohol. If they just think you misuse it/"like a drink" (don't we all) then it is six months.

It goes without saying when you reapply you need to cut down drinking especially in the fortnight before the test. Don't believe you can take milk thistle of any other magic cure - there is zero proof any work.

Thanks
You are correct re milk thistle .....
Stopped for 5 weeks before medical, yes 5, had two isolated 6 beer nights two weeks and 1 week before medical.......

Totally shocked at fail.

Letter mentions both scenarios but does not state which I am ?
