second DD no insurance

hi there

i would like some advice on the sentence i would receive, as this is my second DD offence.
i've had a 1year ban before (reduced to 9m in 2003) my reading was 43 at the time.

But this time ive blow 53 and was driving with no insurence

Jackie,

The minimum ban that you would receive is 3 years. This is known as the ancilliary sentence. The primary sentence (fine etc) will depend on the aggravating and mitigating features of your case and on how much time passed from the first to the second offence.

If the second offence is within 4 or 5 years it is usual for the Court's to consider custody or a community penalty as the primary sentence.
