When 'like'ing' a comment, would you prefer there to be a larger sellection of emojis available?

  • Yes - more emojis please

On a few occasions, albeit not many, I've wanted to 'like' a comment and not had an appropriate emoji to do so. The current workaround is to reply to the comment(s) and write a response and/or add the emoji into the 'Write your reply...' box - this does work, however it does/can clutter up the thread. In case anyone is wondering why I'm bringing this up, it's because of a recent thread regarding what could be a health scare (admittedly there's very little to go on, however still... ) and I just wanted to 'like' a comment with '🫂'. I actually wanted to use the 3 hearts care emoji, however I'm aware that is a Facebook exclusive emoji.

My suggestion would be to have a few extra/additional emojis. Maybe we all could put down a few suggestions, below? I do understand that even if the site administrator agrees to adding more, it probably won't be many.

Thanks for taking the time to read my suggestion, and hopefully answer the poll :giggle:🤪 [<-- also suggestions].

Yes there appears to be some kind of issue with the polls unfortunately and the cause of this is yet to be determined. In regards to the extra emojis suggestion, the answer remains the same as in the other thread in that extra emojis may be included in future updates.

Yeah, cheers, I wasn't sure if the poll was an issue my end or not, with how I had set it up (poll voting time limit). I thought it best to run a poll because if I were the only one that thinks it's a good idea there wouldn't really be much point in adding more emotes/emoji's.

Thanks :giggle:
