Re do test after course.

Hi, anybody know if you have to resist your theory and practical test if you’ve passed under 2 years? I heard you had too but when I done the course last week they said I wouldn’t have too?? Thanks.

We have the same dilemma . When will ur ban end? From my understanding on that article. We are good , unless the court ordered for us to re take. On which I doubled check and there is none on mine. Will see

Mine ends in feb 2026, I’m confused too because I was always under the impression that you have to re do both the tests! But as you say that article says only if the court orders so I guess we are fine and will just receive our licences back?

Wow thats a long way to go. Yep i think after our ban we will reapply for the license only and not resit.

I know I got slammed in court! First offence, no accidents / didn’t crash, got pulled over as a routine stop, I had 21months, but I recently done the drink drive course so it took time off! When does yours end?

Same here first offence and no crash. I got 17 mos and reduced now to 14 mos after the course. Will end soon next year 2025 nov 14.

On the course there were people that crashed and blew more than I did and only got 12 months, I didn’t understand it, the judge must of been having a bad day! How much did you blow if you don’t mind me asking?

Yeah, the judge were sometimes biased. It depends really on them. Coz before my court hearing i was reading threads here and some were very high and crashed but got the minimum 12 months. Plus if you have letters from your friends they said it will help. So i did that and got my managers snd friends wrote s letter for me and still got 17 mos at the end which to be fair is on the guidlines of sentencing with a breath of 64.

Yeah I was reading the same!! I had letters too but I don’t think they even cared about them tbh! I blew 69! You live and you learn I guess worst mistake I ever done was get behind the wheel and I’d never do it again! I’m lost without the car!

Wow. We are on the same bracket 60-89 but they gave you 21 mos. I feel sorry for you.

Yep no to alcohol whilst driving. Its crazy turn of event really. It changed me. Will get through this

Hi , starting this september i will re-apply as instructed. The DDC instructor said to not wait till they send the re-application notice or it will be late.
