Question about spent conviction time

Hi,

Have a question in regards to length of time the conviction is "spent", my understanding according to the Rehabilitation periods for sentences which begin on the date of conviction, I have 5 years from the date of conviction until this is "spent".

E.g. conviction date 02/2022, spent date 02/2027

DR10, 12 month ban reduced to 9 months with Drink Driving Rehabilitation Course, Fine.

Technically speaking I would agree that so long as the disqualification is up then the conviction is spent after 5 years.

However, in my opinion it isn't truly spent as it stays on your driving licence for 11 years.
