I was stopped and made to provide a specimen of breath on Thursday 15th March to which I blew 92mg of breath and was subsequently arrested for drink driving. I am to appear in court on April 4th and really need some advice as I stand to lose my income with any loss of my licence. I have not been convicted of drink driving in the past. Please help! Matt

A reading of 92µg of alcohol per 100ml of breath is just into the third sentencing bracket. You are at risk of a ban of between 23 and 28 months alongside a community order. You should also get the opportunity to complete a drink driving rehabilitation course. That can reduce your ban by up to 25%.
