Hi all,
Ive recently been caught and subsequently released under investigation for drink driving. I look back on that night and have nothing but whole hearted remorse for my actions which lead to this, as well as carrying a lot of guilt and shame.
Im sure you’ve seen my previous posts but I just wanted to ask.
Has anyone that’s been convicted know the likelihood of it being posted in the local papers/online and what the severity of their words are.
I will also need to tell my work if/when I’m convicted, as I’m sure I will be due to the high reading. Does anyone have any experience on telling your employer and how that acted/received the information when you explained what happened?
I’d gladly take any advice or support as I’m really struggling at the moment. My future feels very bleak due to this. I’m not looking for sympathy. Just some semblance of hope through it all. I was starting to get my life back on track after my depression was starting to come under control but this has spiralled it again.
Thanks.
