Milk thistle dosage

Yes but reducing liver inflammation will not reduce CDT. CDT is reliable because apart from severe liver damage it is not affected significantly by liver function.

CDT is focussed on one specialist cell, a glycoprotein - basically a protein with sugar attached. As has been said if you take prescription drugs with a similar effect on glycoproteins it will adversely affect CDT.
I do not have liver inflammation, my scan shows no damage or scarring and it is normal in size, the only thing that was picked up is its slightly fatty, this maybe the reason the GGT level is still high as everything else is normal, but I shall be speaking to my GP today.

probably because people are so desperate to get their Independence back. Have you ever been banned from driving - I doubt it as you would understand.

While not drinking people still want to try every conceivable aid to help them pass the CDT test - take no chances, belt and braces approach.

You are correct. I have never been banned form driving. I do, however, understand the desire to regain independence if someone has been convicted of such an offence. What I will say is don't let that desperation take you down the path of trying urban myth medication to try and improve the result. At best it will do nothing, at worst it could actually raise CDT levels resulting in your licence possibly being refused. Tipsy Nurse clearly has knowledge of the potential adverse effects of milk thistle upon CDT. Why risk it? Abstaining from alcohol before the test is the ONLY sure fire way of passing.
