Hastings Direct trying to recoup costs?

I'm in a similar situation it seems to be a dark subject I have a letter that my insurance company want me to sign say I'll pay all third party costs, best bet is to speak to cab or a lawyer it's horrible isn't it

I never got a letter saying that because they sent it to the wrong address and it got returned to sender 2 years ago and they never bothered to contact me again until they asked for money. not a nice situation but hope you can get it sorted

also I’ve just spoken to Hastings and they’re saying that 3 lots of personal injury has been claimed for, however I have police reports stating that there was only 2 passengers. I have no idea what to do and feeling completely lost

Hastings are yet to settle my claim with TP and they are chasing me directly as they are under impression I wasn’t insured to the tune of 18,000. I never cancelled my insurance, If they settle the payment will I be liable to pay my insurance back?
