GP Error

My GP made an error on paperwork and it has resulted in my revoked. Basically ticked a wrong box. The GP has since rectified the error and informed DVLA but i am still at home on unpaid leave. It has been three weeks now and who knows how much longer. How do i go about getting financial compensation for this?

Unfortunately, I can’t advise you in terms of compensation. You would need to speak with a dispute resolution lawyer in respect of claiming for damages whilst you have been out of work. From experience, the DVLA will not prioritise this case even in light of the error pointed out and I would suggest that you continue to actively chase the DVLA to progress.
