Hi if any could help me with this. I got a 26 month drink driving ban blew 106 so hro. I abstained from alcohol since March 2023 was classed as dependent had to have a medical detox. Iv abstained for 2 years now. I applied for my driving license once ban was up which was 9 months ago . I had a cdt test after 18 months of abstinence reading 0.6 so that proves I abstain. Drugs where found in my system 3 years ago haven't touched them since this is all logged with my gp . Why is it taking the dvla so long to issue. No drugs for 3 years no alcohol for 2 years . This is all on file with my gp and the dvla will have access to this also after asking for a subject access request from my gp and the dvla
