First time offence

HI,
I was arrested Friday night at my home address after police were tipped off.
No accidents.
I refused the breath test and was arrested.
At the police station I complied and agreed the evidential breath test but the machine was faulty.
Iater on I had a blood test.
I obviously don't know the result yet but suspect it will be high.
I have a clean license and am of good character.
Can you give me any indication of a sentence please.

Unfortunately that's not possible. We need to know the reading first as the sentence will reflect the reading.

I have another question if that's ok.
Will the fact that I refused the roadside test go against me, the duty solicitor advised me that it would not because I complied at the station?

It won't make a big difference. It carries 4 points but is rarely prosecuted.
