First time drink driving offence. First time offence ever.

Good afternoon
I’ve been arrested for drink driving (last week),
My hearing is on the 17th of May, breath test result was 89 milligrams, I don’t know what to expect from this, what is gonna happened in the court. I can’t afford a solicitor so need to represent my self and I really don’t know how to approach the court. What should I say? It’s my first ever offence, I’ve got clean criminal record, clean driving license, good opinion at work. I’m a self employed van delivery driver and person I was subcontracting for last 7 year agreed to write a reference for me - can I use them in court? What to say? Can I be imprisoned for my action ?

The sentencing guidelines would say that you are likely to recieve a fine and a disqualification, prison is highly unlikely. As to references, yes these are a good idea. If you are not hiring a lawyer the Court has a duty solicitor who will speak for you free of charge.

How do I contact duty solicitor? Do I need to arrived early to arrange him/her to talk for me ?

Good afternoon
I'm in the court right now. Hearing at 2pm. Came early to see duty solicitor but he/she is not in the office. Don't know what to do. Strat panicking
 
Ok. Soo worried. I've got a letter from my employer and an apology letter from self. I just don't know how, when and what to say to the court. Packing even more now.
