Extended retest...

Hello guys, I got caught for drink & dangerous driving back in February and I have my second hearing at the magistrates next week. My solicitor said I may have to do an extended retest. I know if I have to do this I’ll have to get a provisional, do my theory and my practical again. However when it comes to getting my licence back and getting insured. There is a question “how long have yoh had your licence”?
what will I have to say in this? Will it be classed as a new licence when I get my licence back or do I tell them how long Its been since I had my first licence?

The answer to any question about your driving licence is in relation to the FIRST time you had a full licence, not anything else that makes you have a retest, disqualification or anything else.
