DVLA MEDICAL TURNAROUND TIMES

Well after 3 months I finally had my medical yesterday, not bad only scored 2 on the questionnaire as 1 question was answered yes, however I telephoned DVLA to find out turnaround time and it was like getting blood out of a stone, so does anyone know approx. turnaround from time of the medical to a decision being made.

Hi JayJay46. Can I ask what question you answered yes to? From my other post, you will know that they wrote to my GP Practice on the 5th November. I called the GP for an update last week. The Doctor I had named is on holiday for 3 weeks and they still haven't sent the 'form' back to DVLA. They 'hope' it will be the end of next week which will be nearly 4 weeks from when they received it. I then have to book the medical so doubt I will get my license back by the time my ban is up on the 10th December.
