I was given a roadside drug test and it came up cocaine apparently, they wouldn't show me the results, they took me back to station but couldn't get blood out of me,they then said we are reporting you to the dvla,I thought they had to show you the roadside drug test positive or not?I am 41 and haven't done cochineal sincence I was about 19!!

Good evening.

They should show you the test but if they are not prosecuting you this is no longer relevant to the offence.

I understand completely however that as a result of this you will have to prove to the dvla you are fit to drive which must be frustrating. I think the best course of action is to do what the DVLA request and launch a complaint with the IPCC about the actions of the officer.

Kind regards
Martin.
