driving licence / medical

hi i passed my driving test early 1998 but i was disqualified in 2001 for 18 months for failing to supply a specimen, i was told to reapply and that i would need to take a medical before renewal paid for by myself but i couldnt afford it at the time and because im a complete tool i just left it .. never really needed it. i now need it sorting but im worried i may need to re take my test because ive left it so long. should i just apply and see what happens or have i blown it :S anyhelp much appreciated

You haven't blown it. You simply apply now and undergo the medical. There is no re-test involved. You are in no different a position that you were when the disqualification first ended.
