Sorry I meant to say it won't do you any harm at all.....yes take you son and family with you,court date is not as bad as you think,I was dreading mine but it was,ny to bad.
 
You cannot take your child in to court. It could be good to take your wife to court for support but the magistrates are only really interested in any mitigation about your driving and to see a couple of character references if you can get them. These could be from your employer or someone in your community to say you are a good person and this is not normally something you would have done, drink driving.£600 is still a lot to pay for a solicitor,

I now is still a lot £600 but I can find less
