Cashed my car into a parked one, got out and run a little bit up the road because I thought it was gonna set on fire then the man who's car it was punched me to the ground and sat on me till the police come. Blew 70 then 5 hours later took a blood test at the hospital. Last drink driving conviction was when I was 18 now 26. Will lose my flat job MESS

A second conviction for drink driving within a 10 year period will mean that you will face a minimum ban of 36 months. Given that you have provide da specimen of blood you will be charged on the basis of that reading once produced by the police. The police have 6 months from the date of the incident to lay a charge so it may be some time before you receive confirmation of the position. If your blood reading is equivalent to the breath reading you will be sentenced in the second sentencing bracket meaning you will be at risk of a community order alongside a ban.

And any chance I will be under as I kept being sick due to concussion when I took my blood out sober as a judge

It is possible to be offered a drink driving course following a second conviction, particularly where the course was not offered on the first occasion.

The police analysis is the important analysis but it is likely that their analysis will produce a similar result. A reading at that level would mean a minimum 3 year ban and a fine (given this is your second offence within 10 years and it is in the lowest possible sentencing bracket). The only way a ban can be avoided is to consider if there are any technical avenues to explore in defence. This can be speculative and requires expert input. You should contact a specialist to discuss your options in more detail on 0333 344 4772.

There is often no reason other than it being one of many matters to deal with and the deadline for dealing with it is not for some time. There is not necessarily a specific reason.
