Hi
I got home and the police arrived breathalizer me at .90 then taken to Police Station.
At the station I was asked to breathalizer which I willing did.. I had no idea it was an offence when He said it failed as I didn't blow hard enough for 3 attempts.

I could see the green light moving up then he stopped me saying I wasn't blowing hard enough. I was. After 3rd attempt he said I had failed and was put into a cell. No other blood test etc taken.

I have a medical condition/intolerance that stops my memory for periods so I have no recall of the police station until the breath test..but don't want to mentuin this incase I get into more trouble. I wish I'd had a solicitor.

I'm Scared. I have a disabled son who needs me and drive him and I don't know what I will Do.

It is my first experience in my 60+life I had no idea of these procedures.

Is that two separate court cases two different fines/bans..being

Ill be in Court and assume I'll be charged with DD. at. 90 and refusing a breathalizer Which I didnt. I really wanted another test as I wanted to see proof.

I'm worried about my son, he is the only child I have left having lost two others. Divorced so he only has me.

I am scared and so ashamed. I haven't told anyine.

At the police station I was told I wasn't charged yet and I can still drive until I go to court on 30th July but was finger printed etc.

Very confusing.
.
Its for driving with drink at level.90
Refusing a breathlizer test at the station.

I didn't know that.
Ive a severe intolerance to msg which I had on Tues before this happened plus a new med for my heart rhythm which seems to have had a neg effect... so my memory of the police station is blank with a few flashes.

As I was leaving They gave me papers saying I was charged with refusing to provide a sample and gave me those papers.

He then read out the DD and told me to appear in Court 30th July. He didn't give papers for that...saying I could drive til then.

So should I call the police station and ask what charges am I going to Court for.

I'm In N. Ireland and it happened on Tuesday. Court date 30th July 10am.

Should I have been charged with DD also at the station or does that happen in court?

Can I be charged for both on Court day.

So could it appear I have been charged with refusing a specium and the DD. will be read out in Court as added evidence to the charge.

Im confused.

Hi Martin
Do you think the charge is refusing the specium.. (Which I didnt I willingly did) .

Can they also later at Court charge me with DD. They read it out level. 90 at the Station

Could I have been charged with both but they forgot to give me the papers?

Can there be two different charges?

Trying to understand this.....very scared.

I could deal with that as I know I tried and medically it could be an issue. .

Do you know why the Officer read out a report on drink driving but not charge.

Still in the hospital not knowing if I'm going home or not.. Docs seem intrigued by my heart condition.

You have no idea how much you are helping me. Tk u so much.

Will they charge me on the on .90 charge or for refusing the specium.

I honestly dont believe I was as high as .90. I wanted to do the station test to prove it but officer kept saying I was not blowing hard enough so stopped the test 3 times.. But I could see the green line going up.

Very strange.

Do I say anything in Court re my history:-

Divorced 2011 single Mum since
2011 Sep My 26yr daughter died seizure
2014 My 25yr son diagnosed inoperable incurable brain tumour. He was studying astrophysics.
2015 Feb my son died. (This Sep is his 10th anniversary birthday.)
Jan this year My Mum died.

my only child left is my 33yr profusely disabled son in a wheelchair, we only have each other.

Or will this not be considered.

I am scared

How do I find an experienced solicitor.
Wish you were able to represent me.
Again tk u for your help it means a lot.
