Hi
a friend of mine was stopped and breath tested...he has reduced lung capacity so could not do breath test at police station.Did blood test and some 6 weeks later got letter from police discharging him from bail as under the limit.
Some three months later was telephoned by police and threatened with arrest if he did not go to the station.Told they backcalculated that he was over the limit although thet had not got details of height weight what and how much to drink etc etc.
When charged they had the wrong car and the wrong place.Due in court next week. What should he do
It was a random test with no accident or other offense involved

Hi

It sounds to me as though the police have made some serious errors in this case. I would recommend that your friend seeks expert legal advice as a matter of urgency.

Drink Driving law is a highly specialised area of law. As such, it is best to seek the services of an expert motoring lawyer in order to maximise prospects of success. This is particularly so if a ban would result in the loss of a job. A conviction would also be a criminal one.

Should your friend wish to instruct a Solicitor, we are motoring solicitors who have proven expertise in this field. We are also able to act at very short notice. Our contact details can be found below.
