convicted failliure to provide sample 2008

After being convicted in 2008 I was told that I needed a medical as a high risk offender.
On the dvla website it says that I cannot drive until the medical if convicted on or prior June 2013?
As my conviction was 2008 can Legally drive once they have received my application whilst awaiting medical?

Hi.

I'm not sure of what you are reading but it is the norm that if you are told to have a medical before you can drive that you have to do it. Perhaps you should contact the DVLA and ask them?
