I recently applied for my hgv license, attended the medical as required. Dvla weren’t happy with the results, ended up with another medical plus doctor reports.
I have had my license revoked as my cdt was 1.8, anyone got any advice, I’ve been told I can’t appeal for 6 months, anyone know otherwise, pretty desperate for help as I’m a self employed courier and have now lost my business, livelihood, probably my home etc, all help appreciated

The DVLA will revoke your licence if they determine that you have been misusing or are dependent on alcohol. If the DVLA determine that you have been misusing alcohol then they will revoke your licence for a minimum 6 months meaning you cannot apply to the DVLA again during that period. You can, however, appeal the matter to the magistrates' court in the event that the DVLA have not considered all relevant facts when making their decision. This is not straight forward and you will need to take detailed advice before considering this option.
