Been sent a summons, driving with alcohol above level.

Hi

so have been sent summons, blood alcohol was 183 which I’m aware is high.

expect to be banned but have a job at a local school for children with special needs and they wouldn’t do well with the change without being told that I’m leaving. I don’t want to leave the job and there’s no houses near, that I can afford. It’s my mistake, mental health was mega low, and I’m prepared to pay for it but I wanted to know if there was anything that would mean I was able to keep working there (driving) like a driving curfew that meant I could only drive to and from work?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Should add that telling them isn’t an option now as they are on summer hols and when I go back I’m not sure they would even be able to process it with that much notice.

Good afternoon.

Unfortunately they don't work that way. The lowest they can give in terms of disqualification is 12 month and the only way to reduce that is if they offer a rehabilitation course which would take another 3months off.
