Ban ends 2/3/19, licence valid 3/3/19 - when can I drive?

Hi,

so I just received my licence in the post today and noticed it is valid from the 3/3/19 though my ban ends 2/3/19 - can I drive when the ban is over or do I need to wait until my licence is valid?

You can only drive once your licence is valid. Even if the ban ends earlier, driving without a validly dated licence is a separate offence. To be on the safe side, you should wait until your licence period starts.
