Dear all!
i am wondering if i could get any advice from anyone?

a few days ago i was pulled over and got done for drink driving, i blew 96 and have be bailed to appear at court in two weeks.

I admit i was stupid for driving under the influence, but no way drunk enough to reach them level!

I am a diabetic who has pills and also insulin injections, can this affect me so i would get a higher reading? Also i told the sargent and would of thought being diabetic they would of took a blood test to get more precise readings.

Also whats peoples thought on how long of a ban, worried sick! first offence.

Diabetes will not affect the level of alcohol produced. It may have an impact on how that alcohol is broken down but will not inflate the reading produced. A reading at that level puts you in the third sentencing bracket meaning you will face a ban of between 23 and 28 months together with a community order.
