Hi my brother has four previous drink driving charges from 9 years ago he has been arrested yesterday for drink driving again he has never had a license even tho the police have not mentioned that the breath test read 73 micrograms. Just looking for some advice on what how he will be charged. Thankyou

As an isolated offence, a reading of 73µg in breath would mean your brother would face a ban of between 17 and 22 months. Given that he has previous within the last 10 years, this will mean a mandatory minimum ban of 3 years. The fact that he has numerous previous convictions for related offences there is a real risk that the court will consider imposing a prison sentence. I would highly recommend that you speak with a specialist to discuss the case and chronology in more detail so that more specific advice can be given. You can contact a specialist on 03330093830.
