8 months since blood test

Hello, my son was stopped driving and had a road side drug test
which was positive. He then had a blood test. This was 8 months ago. He has had no communication since. Can he be charged now?

Good morning,

In theory he cannot be charged with drug driving but you should check with the Court and Police officer in charge of the case to make sure the charge has not already be laid without your knowledge, as that occasionally happens.
