Did you tell your employer when you were charged with DD?

I was charged with a 47 reading following a road traffic collision (the other driver hit me and they were clear).

Got a court date at the police station but not been back to work since My car is in recovery and am awaiting a courtesy car from insurance.

I am dreading the thought of telling them - I can just imagine their response and fear loosing my job. I did call them and told them about the accident but that's all.

Did you tell your employer? What was the result of your court case? What happened at work?
