Blood results

Hi, has anybody had to wait 8 weeks or more for blood test results? Bail was extended but not sure if police have results yet or not.

Generally the police expect to get the result within 6 weeks, but there can be backlogs and I have seen reports on here of people not hearing for 12.

My son is due to answer his bail tomorrow, he hasn't heard the results from the police it has been 11 weeks, does the fact that he hasn't heard anything mean that the results have definitely come back over or do they sometimes leave it until you get to the police station to tell you.
