Dear All,
Just an update to let everyone know the result of my Drink Driving incident.
The reason IO am putting this here is make everyone aware of the importance of proper representation in court.
I was caught with a reading of 96 and faced a 24 - 28 month ban, a community penalty and a large fine.
With the help of my solicitor (who is also a specialist in road traffic offences) he was able to mitigate on my behalf and today I walked away with an 18 month ban (reducable to 13.5 with the DD course) and a fine of £120.
I am convinced that this was due to having proper representation rather than the court going easy on me. PLEASE do consider getting a decent solicitor, it may of cost me more, but it has paid for itself.
