Hi
I was recently convicted of drink driving my reading were 93mg alcohol to 100mg blood which i was told was a low reading today on arriving home I have received a letter saying that due to nature of the offence i will be required to take a full medical before getting my licence back.
PS
this is my first motoring offence in 42 years of driving with no points at all in this period
can I appeal

You should only have to take a medical if you are classed as a high risk offender.

High Risk Offenders are drivers who:



  • Have been disqualified on two or more occasions within a period of 10 years for a drink drive offence.
