medication alter results?

Hey Guys, I was recently arrested for drink driving and blew a 79. I didnt mention to the police at the time but i have been taking anti depressant medication for an anxiety condition for a few years. I dont normally drink because of this. Does anybody know if this has any affect on the breath test resluts? Can this be a mitigating factor?

As far as I know, the only medication that can affect a reading is certain asthma inhalers, such as salbutamol. I think they contain some sort of alcohol or something. It wouldnt hurt for you to mention your depression though.
