Help and advice needed, Just back from court

Hi,

I just came back from court today, i blew 79 and was given 20 months ban and 680 pound fine.
They didnt take my licence away and i didnt pay any fines on court. I was told all the paperwork will be sent to my home address for action (fines etc)

Is this normal?

Yeah, completely from my experience.

I left court with my licence, and actually rang up the next day to try and pay the fine straightaway, but couldn’t because it hadn’t been processed yet. DVLA wrote 3 days later for me to send the licence back, same with the court which sent all the paperwork and instructions for paying online.
