You can drive pending a court case. - innocent until proven guilty- On being found guilty you can expect to be banned that day, or if the reading is high and the case is adjourned for pre sentence reports, you can expect to receive an interim ban that day, with the full ban being given when you re appear.
you have put a link, but it is not for an actual website so not sure what it says, but what I have put is the legal position.
