Insurance help needed!!

My insurance company I used have refused to insure me!!

Just did comparethemarket which have come out with a quote of 1200 ? Is this seriously how much it costs to insure a person after a DD conviction???

Hi, I can't help you with this insurance problem but here is my opinion.

The insurance companies are using this as an excuse to make money.
You have been severely punished for drink driving and are therefore unlikely to re-offend.
After all that is what the punishment is for.

The insurance companies are implying that you are more likely to offend after you have been punished.

That being the case, what's the point of being punished?

If being punished makes an offender more likely to re-offend then the punishment should be scrapped
and replaced with rehabilation courses.

Hi again miserable,
I used Adrian flux for my insurance company after a ban, they were very good considering and let me insure a Toyota MR2 fully comp for £500. Don't give up and pay those extortionate prices, there are companies who will find you cover.

Thanks people. Got insured for just under 500. Hubby sorted it all so not sure who with etc.
Went for a drive today and it was great! It was pissing with rain so I picked the kids up from school in the car and they were so happy to not have to walk in the rain.

I now have 18 months worth of errands to run ...... ???
