I was convicted for drink driving in July 2010, I was given an 18 month ban (reduced to 14 after I completed the course). I understand after 5 years the conviction is spent and I don't have to disclose it, but it stays it's on your criminal record for 10 years and on your licence for 11.
i have recently left my employment so I am applying for new jobs. Most driving jobs state I require a clean licence, where do I stand as far as the conviction being spent but still on my licence? I am assuming if they decide to check my licence on the dvla website it will say I got a dr10 until July 2021.
