dvla class 2 medical Will the doctor drugs test me - for PCO licence

Hi,

As part of the application for a PCO licence (minicab licence) - I have to do a class 2 medical.

I have never been pulled over for drugs / drink - or convictions

The doctor has no record of any drug use or alcohol drinking.

I do however smoke cannabis from time to time (but never when driving or driving stoned)

I am a little worried they will just drug test (even urine) - and find cannabis use in my system.

Just wondering if its a normal thing they do with all class 2 medicals?

Timez,
There is a urine test as a part of the PCO medical, but I believe it is for testing for diabetes only.
i may stand to be corrected by people who have actually done the medical, because sometimes the reality is different to the theory, but that is what is described in the guidelines for medical practitioners.
