I wonder If anyone could offer me any advice.
Ive always been a very heavy drinker (drink 6/7 pints most nights) and after losing my licence for a second time realised I had a drink problem and needed to get my life in order. I saw my gp and was given difrulsam to stop me drinking. the dvla gave me my licence back for 12 months then decided to not re issue it because my doctor informed them I was taking medication. I fell of the wagon a couple times but with the help of my partner I have not drunk since xmas and feel my life is back on track. I now want to apply for my licence back. Ive been living healthy for months now but im concerned my heavy drinking past will go against me.
Id be grateful for any advice.
