Applying for licence back early

I have heard you can apply for your licence back early on a 3 year ban, is this correct?

How do you go about it?

I followed all the courts rulings etc probation, probation drink drive course score a 4.7 out of 5

stayed out of trouble

Any ideas of cost etc would be good too

If you were disqualified from driving for 3 years or less you may apply for the early return of your driving licence under Section 42 of The Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 after a period of two years. More information on applying for the early return of your driving licence can be found here.

Contact your solicitor and they will contact the convicting court and come back with a date to appeal your ban. I done it recentley heres a link.
