Has anyone one here taken an `extended retest`? just wondered how much more difficult it is than the normal test (like the one I took 15 years ago!!)

Has anyone one here taken an `extended retest`? just wondered how much more difficult it is than the normal test (like the one I took 15 years ago!!)

The extended practical driving test lasts for aprroximately 70 minutes as opposed to 40 minutes for the regular driving test. The extended driving test is more demanding than the regular driving test and is designed to test the subjects ability to drive on a wide variety of roads, usually including dual carriageways. The driving test fee is also more than that of a regular driving test.

You will also have to pass a theory test as well as the practical test. More info can be found here.
