Our daughter aged 24 years, driving for 3/4 years, is back home out of hospital she was on route from Honiton to Exeter, rolled lost control(Nissan Micra) car flipped. and hit a tree. No others involved. Emergency services cut her out. This was at about 10.45pm.
She was trapped in car and did not get to hospital untill 11.30/45pm. She had stitches in face and mouth, cut arms, hand with tendon damage. glass embedded in chest. badly bruised etc. Lucky to be alive.

The police stayed outside room and breathlysed her at 2pm and she registered 88mg specimen 1 and 85mg specimen 2.

In addition just to make matters worse, she had purchased a £10 deal of Marijuana (cannabis) that evening, although she had not smoked any for months.

So the alleged offences are: Drive Motor Vehicle when alcohol above limit, Possess a controlled drug of classB Cannabis /Cannabis Resin.

She was fully comp insured, taxed and MOT. The insurance company has voided the cover. The car is witten off obviously, but fortunately not highh value, so will get scrapped asap.

So whats our next move??? any help/advice gratefully received. Also What do people think the fine/sentence will be? What are the implications of her having lost control and also having weed in the car?
How important is legal representation in this case is there any defence.
She is a marketing exec for an enginnering company, mainly office based, but goes to exhibtions and visits clients/parent company now and again.. Ta :) Steve
