I was arrested on Friday for drink driving and appear in court on April 16th do I need a solicitor or will there be a duty solicitor at the court as I entend to plead guilty so just not sure if I needed one if I'm pleading guilty anyway ???

There is no requirement for you to be represented. You can represent yourself. Wherever possible you should try and at least obtain some advice form a solicitor prior to court and if possible retain a solicitor to represent you. The Duty Solicitor on the day may be available to assist you but it cannot be guaranteed by any means. You can contact a specialist to discuss your options, along with the potential penalty you face, on 0333 200 9858.
