Blew 86 after altercation with partner

Convicted Driver Insurance
I Was pulled by police as I'd drove around a quarter of a mile and parked up whilst under the influence, I did this to remove myself from an altercation with my partner atvhis home address. The engine was still running but the car was stationary as they approved me. I was breathalised immediately and blew 86 then was arrested. On being interviewed the next morning I admitted I'd done this as at the time I needed to remove myself from the mentioned situation, what would the maximum ban be that I receive, points and fine? Also I'm not sure if I need a solicitor, it's my 1st criminal offence so confused on what will happen or what I need to do

A reading of 86µg of alcohol per 100ml of breath will mean that the court will look to impose a ban of between 17 and 22 months as well as either a fine or a community order.

You do not need to be represented but having a well prepared case and presenting your mitigation at court can prove helpful to the court when directing themselves to the sentencing guidelines. Positive and relative issues can be brought to the court's attention to assist them with deciding what penalty to impose. It can have the impact of reducing your ban to the lowest within the guidelines or even be the difference between a fine and a community order if relevant issues are dealt with helpfully to assist the court.

Should you be looking for representation at court you should contact a specialist on 0333 009 5537.
