Drink driving ban

I was arrested Saturday night for crashing into another car causing both vehicles to be written off, at the side of the road I was breathalysed and I blew under of 29 but when I got to the station after a couple of hours I was breathalysed and blew 52, I can't understand how it's gone up so much. Then I was also given a drugs test which came back as negative. I was wondering what the best advice is for me

The machine at the police station should be more accurate and reliable than the one at the roadside.
That said its unusual to have such a wide variance in the readings. It's impossible for me to comment on why this may be the case.
I would suggest that enquiries are made to ascertain whether the machine at the police station was properly maintained, calibrated and working properly on the day in question.
